As the time nears closer to the peak of winter we are presented with harsh winds, colder temperatures and lots of layers.
We really can’t rock our belowed wash and go without fear of getting sick and we are presented with much drier hair. Now, is the time when we should be paying close attention to our strands. So why not add some layers to our hair as well! Protective styles help us to protect our hair from the harshness of the cold weather, retain length and have an overall healtheir set of strands. You may be saying in the back of your mind, “How the heck am I supposed to do that, I was just getting the hang of mastering my wash and go.” I promise you that you will be happy if you make the choice to do a couple protective styles. During this time doing your hair is pretty much a breeze and your hair is protected, which is the most important thing of all.
You can protect you strands by
wearing our satin bonnet outside as a hat trying out various protective styles like twists, braids, wigs, weaves, extentions, and even wearing our twisted hair underneath our satin bonnets with a cute hat to add to our outfits.
I have opted to do various braided updos with twists for the past couple months as you can see a few pics of below.
