As I mentioned in my unhappy hair post, my hair was extremely dry and just wasn’t acting right. After stalking all the natural hair vloggers for sometime now I decided to actually take some of there tips. I figured it was time to treat my hair with a little protein. After all she deserved it.
I started by trimming my ends, followed by my shampoo. Yes, Shea Moisture.
Freshly washed hair, looking not so bad after the trim.
The protein treatment I used was by the beautiful, talented and super amazing Whitney also known as Naptural85. It consisted of eggs, mayo, and honey. You can check it out below.
My hair soaked in the mixture. It got really messy; I had to cover my hair with my shower cap and a towel to prevent dripping.
I left it on for 45 minutes, rinsed with cool water and followed with my conditioner, then finger detangled.
These are the result of my protein filled hair post wash. My curlies sprouting so beautiful. My hair is HAPPY.
Following the rinse, I applied my Curl and Style milk (moisturizer) and my Vatika Oil (sealer).
Yummy!! My Curls are back!!

Your hair is so pretty! It’s great your hair loves protein. Some have issues with protein based conditioners. Mine sometimes does, sometimes doesn’t. Great post!

Thank you love. I have heard that for many there hair doesn’t respond to protein treatments. This has made me want to do more research so I can help people like yourself. So be on the lookout.
